What is your role within AH, and what’s your favorite thing about working at AH?
I am the marketing/social media coordinator and also act as an executive/admin assistant to Kevin Scholz (CEO) and Tina Rock (partner/senior recruiter). My favorite thing about working at Advanced Hires is that I can see myself growing and learning here for a long time. There’s a sense of longevity and positivity within the company. I also love that I get to use my creative skills.
What is the best thing about working for AH?
There’s a real sense of comradery and closeness at Advanced Hires. Everyone gets along and works together to get the job done. I love that my abilities and skills are trusted, and that I’m able to actually see positive results and changes happening with my help.
What is something you want people to know about Advanced Hires?
Advanced Hires is not a typical staffing agency that just throws resumes at clients and see what sticks. We actively look for perfect matches and make genuine connections with the people we work with. We’re a smaller, locally based company, and Milwaukee is our home and playground. I think our social media reflects this: We do our work, but also have a ton of fun doing it!
What kind of people do you want to work with?
I want to work with people who are open-minded, passionate, and inspiring. Positive energy is really important to me, and I feel like all my coworkers at Advanced Hires are committed to bringing good vibes and enthusiasm to their work.
What do you hope to accomplish at AH?
I hope to keep spreading the word about how awesome Advanced Hires is! I want to increase our business and work on growing our social media accounts, while continuing to use my creative writing skills to highlight why our company is the best choice out there for people looking to change their lives.
List your three best qualities:
I am super organized, I pride myself on being extremely efficient at any task I set my mind to, and as an author I am also a great writer and reader.
What’s something a stranger might be surprised to find out about you?
I am a rock climber. I began climbing over a year ago and I am absolutely obsessed, which is funny because I’ve never been the most athletic person. I competed in my first ever competition this January. Be aware that if you ask me about climbing, I probably won’t shut up about it for a solid 20 minutes or so. I’ve also written 4 novels (and counting), and I’m in the process of trying to get my debut novel published right now!
What’s your favorite guilty-pleasure TV show?
My partner and I recently got into watching The Masked Singer, which is so much fun. It’s totally ridiculous – different celebrities wear elaborate costumes to hide their faces and compete to see who the best singer is. I don’t normally like reality TV, or singing competitions, but something about this one is just so cool to me!
What place in Milwaukee would you spend all your time at if you could?
Probably a toss-up between Adventure Rock (which is where I spend all my time climbing) and Riverside Theater, since I love going to live shows and concerts.
