Junior Recruiter

Advanced Hires is looking to hire two full-time recruiters who will not tire until job orders are filled. Advanced Hires is a Recruiting & Placement Firm Headquartered in the Third Ward. We recruit and place nationally for companies of all sizes: small, medium, large, and Fortune 500. We place for all professional roles; however, our niche is in the tech space. Our services are in high demand. This position involves recruiting only.

In addition to being an excellent communicator, and under the director of the Marketing Manager, you should have excellent multitasking and organizational abilities. A successful candidate will also have in-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and social media platforms. Responsibilities:

  • See through and take complete ownership, accountability, and responsibility of all tasks and assignments without blaming others.
  • Follow a detailed proven process the Advanced Hires way.
  • Aggressively and proactively search and identify candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Maintain a consistent commitment to continuous recruiting improvement.
  • Conduct candidate phone screens.
  • Extremely resourceful.
  • Write job descriptions and maximize keywords and creatively post and advertise positions.
  • Review hundreds, sometimes thousands of resumes per weeks.
  • Attend detailed scoping calls and take detailed notes.
  • Maximize all resources to the fullest extent possible.
  • Maintain accountability for KPI’s, quotas, tasks, and expectations.
  • Perform reference checks as needed.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process.
  • Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • One year or more of experience is required.
  • Hard worker, proactive, ahead of the game, with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Demonstrated capacity to succeed in a professional role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to maximize resources.
  • Documented experience with examples of being extremely resourceful.
  • Ability to follow a process and not deviate from what is proven to work.
  • Comfortable making decisions independently.
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Quick and proficient in Microsoft Office and the ability to type at least 30 words-per-min.
  • Proficient with basic technologies and computers (PC’s) with the ability to resolve basic errors, convert files, upload documents, sharing permissions, etc.

MARKETING INTERN

Advanced Hires is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing department. If you’re an ambitious individual who wants to build a career in social media and content marketing, then we want to work with you. Your work will include preparing promotional presentations, monitoring social platforms, and conducting market analysis.

TALENT ACQUISITION INTERN

Advanced Hires has recently acquired major contracts with well-known reputable local organizations in the Milwaukee area and are looking for interns who are interested in learning the recruiting & placement industry or the HR side of recruiting. This is an excellent unique opportunity to not only network with key decision-makers in the area, but to really understand exactly what it takes to attract and match top talent with multiple companies with varying and unique cultures and requirements.
