Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. It occurs when you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, and unable to meet constant demands. During these challenging times, we need to be especially careful of burnout, especially because many people haven’t been taking any PTO or vacation days because they’re quarantining.
Some signs of burnout include:

• Lack of productivity

If you’re feeling burnt out or like you’re quickly approaching that point, here’s some things you can do to help yourself combat that:
• Take intermittent breaks throughout the day
• Exercise, especially during your work day (either early morning or over lunch break), such as walks, yoga, running, or biking can help

• Cut down on nonessential meetings
