In the spirit of the holidays and the new year, Advanced Hires recently put together a drive for an organization we’d like to highlight: Community Projects for Seniors. Community Projects for Seniors began by serving 100 meals on Christmas day in 1986. Currently they serve more than 15,000 meals every year. Contributions from individuals, businesses, and foundations help to continue to serve thousands of seniors in greater Milwaukee area.
Their programs include:
- Delivering ready-to-eat, free hot meals on major holidays
- Providing social programs throughout the year (bingo, crafts, ice cream socials, etc.)
- Distributing care packages (containing toilet paper, Kleenex, paper towels, etc.)
