Advanced Hires, as an IT employer / employee matchmaking expert, positively impacts the lives of IT professionals daily. Our efforts and impact extend to the community way beyond the IT Recruiting & Placement Industry. Advanced Hires is a proud donor and/or volunteer for many causes, and we are always looking for new organizations to give resources and time to.

Advanced Hires Inspires Student Engagement in Technology

One of Advanced Hires’ passions is to inspire students from under-resourced schools to consider technology as a viable and lucrative career path. Many students lack exposure to technology and therefore pursuing a career in technology is not considered. Advanced Hires inspires and promotes student engagement in technology careers and remains committed to the community in many ways. Tina Rock and Advanced Hires are extraordinarily dedicated to Technology United.

Well-versed in her professional capacity

Tina has been a member with IT United and brings her networking capacity, relationships that she’s developed over the years. Tina’s very well-versed in her professional capacity. She has the ability to connect to and network with people on a personal level. She’s introduced us to a lot of new volunteers to us and as a result we became a stronger organization.

Program Director, IT United

Kevin is very dedicated

Kevin is very dedicated and he’s been awesome. Kevin has been a very helpful in restructuring my resume. He gives you room to express yourself and goes in-depth into your experiences and background to get you the best results. Kevin has been a great help to me because it’s very hard to get somebody to dedicate time and effort without collecting a dime. I’m very comfortable with Kevin.

In it for the long haul

It’s so critical to have business leaders at the table helping to really design how we procure pathways for young people that want to get into information technology. There have been a variety of ways that we’ve connected with Tina and Kevin. They’ve been very generous about participating in mock interviews and have reviewed resumes of students. I’ve been at more than a half dozen meetings in the community where I’ve ran into Tina and Kevin and found that they were giving of their time in just so many different ways. So they’re real what I would call “High Road Business Champions” in it for the long haul, not just for a business opportunity.

Helping to grow and develop talent for the businesses in the area

What’s good for the community is good for business. And what’s good for business is good for the community. Tina and Advanced Hires really lives and breathes that. There needs to be a lot of efforts to get more young people into the technology field. This is the business Tina’s in: recruiting and finding talent to provide to the business community. Tina and Advanced Hires shares that business and community alignment (and strategy) that’s helping to grow and develop talent for the businesses in the area. I see Tina’s passion and commitment to helping the community, helping young adults, and helping students get into technology so they can develop the skills and the talent will help Advanced Hires in their success with the business communities here in Milwaukee.

 Their leadership is truly exceptional

I strongly recommend Advanced Hires as their leadership is truly exceptional. Not only do they offer exemplary services to their stakeholders; they serve in various volunteer capacities across inner-city Milwaukee. Tina Rock has served as a volunteer mentor in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee program since the Fall of 2018. Despite her busy schedule, Tina commits her time outside of work to communicating weekly and attending once a month events to ensure the success of her mentee. This fall, their match will be entering the student’s Junior year and working together to begin planning the student’s post-secondary pathway. With Tina’s dedication to the program and her scholar, there is truly no limit to where this young lady will go! It is imperative that more companies truly invest in the community and people in which they serve. Advanced Hires stands as a trailblazer in doing just that!
